Born from a Quebec City winter
PIXORA was founded in 2014 by photographer Isabelle Caron, after a series of portraits shot in the snow of the Plains of Abraham redefined her practice.
What sets us apart: we refuse flat light and stiff poses. Every session begins with a walk through the chosen neighborhood — Petit-Champlain for its density, Montcalm for its afternoon light, the Dufferin Terrace for its sky.
Today, the team includes three photographers and a retoucher, all based in Quebec City. We work throughout the greater Capitale-Nationale region, and travel for destination weddings.
